Plans for Easter in Crawford at Camp Casey

Call for Volunteers and support for the upcoming events of Easter week

organizations. Thanks.]

We at The Crawford Peace House are excited about setting up Camp Casey
at Easter for a five-day action to end the war as well as a celebration
of the third anniversary of the Peace House.

There are a series of events being planned that we'll announce later in
detail but we promise it will be a very exciting week. You will not want
to miss it, so make your plans now (see below for dates).

But we need your help to make it all happen! We need volunteers, and in
kind donations, and financial contributions so that we can make this a
safe, comfortable and effective action.

This Saturday, February 25 from 1:00 to 4:00, we will be having an
organizational meeting at the Peace House in Crawford, at which we will
set up committees and divide up the tasks.

The proposed committees are:

* Transportation /
* Peacekeeping /security / permits
* Food
* Facilities /maintenance/set up
* Communications /Internet/outreach
* Sound / Music
* Interfaith worship
* Volunteers

If you can help out in any of these area (or suggest something we've
missed), please attend the meeting and start things happening. There's a
lot to do and time is always shorter than you think.

Tentatively Camp Casey will be set up on April 7th and will be in operation
Tuesday April 11th thru Sunday April 16th. If you are able to come early
to help with set up and logistics, let us know.
