Kohlman (on KO) is another liar. He said at least the port deal has |

Congress now paying attention to port security. Where the hell has he been? I've seen Dem Congressionals raise hell on C-Span about port security for the past two years at least. I guess when Dems raise substantive issues about Bush policies they call it "Bush bashing" and just ignore it.

...UAE knows what goes in and out of our ports, which in the case of ports in Texas, is military materiel? No problem springing that surprise Iran attack Bush wants, eh?
I saw that revolting creep - and I turned off Olberman because I was so disgusted. Bush is spinning this thing hard, and he's sending out his minions to make the case.

3. Different spelling -- Evan Kohlmann (2 N's) |
|
But Kohlmann does write for the National Review Online, so he may be coming from that direction.

4. Kerry talked port security all through 2004 |
|
But we'd cut our tongues out before we said anything good about our Presidential Candidate.

8. Exactly, it was his discussing this issue that first got my attention. |
|
I had never even considered the possibility of unchecked containers and unsecured ports before that time.

9. Journalists don't seem to do their research when it comes to Dems. |
|
They just go along with whatever the Republican Bushbots say and never challenge them. It's so sad. But they always seem to defend the Republicans whan Dems make charges, taking issue with whatever the Dem has to say.

but they GO OUT OF THEIR WAY to play clips of Cheney making fun of Kerry for "posing as a hunter" (even though that was a false charge) after Cheney shoots a guy!
It would be perfectly reasonable for them to use clips of Kerry calling for better port security, but do we see that? Nooooooooo.
