"The enemy that struck on 9/11 is weakened and fractured yet it is still lethal and planning to hit us again. Either we are serious about fighting this war or we are not," Cheney said in remarks prepared for a speech at the Heritage Foundation think tank.

Heritage Foundation, so he never really was exposed to any sunlight. It was safe for him all the way!

In the words of the good doctor "Fuck You Mr. Cheney".

Connecting the dots scares me.
I think these fuckers are up to NO good, again.
Cheney needs a catalyst to justify his
pending attack on Iran.

6. Does anyone still believe this pusbag?
:grr:

<snip>

"There are no communications more important to the safety of the United States than those related to al Qaeda that have one end in the United States. If we‘d been able to do this before 9/11, we might have been able to pick up on two of the hijackers who flew a jet into the Pentagon ," Cheney said.

Cheney insisted that Bush was committed to protecting civil liberties.

"He has made clear from the outset, both publicly and privately, that our duty to uphold the law of the land admits no exceptions in wartime," Cheney said.

If Dick Cheney said the sky was blue, I'd go outside fully expecting it to be blood red.

12. Well, according to Philip Giraldi...his Iran-attck depends on it.
Edited on Wed Jan-04-06 12:00 PM by BeHereNow
I have posted the Giraldi article several times,
but in case you missed it, the summary is that
Cheney has been a busy little bee working with
the air force to prepare for a massive air attack
which would include the use of tactical nukes in response
to another attack in the US- REGARDLESS of
whether Iran was proven to be involved in
said attack.
These people are stark raving mad.

8. It sounds self-referential
Since he and his cabal were successful on 9/11, they feel they can pull the wool over America's eyes one more time.

I guess we need to read the latest missives from the PNAC to stay abreast of our homegrown terrorists.

9. Subtext:
We already have the nukes in place and if the Democrats and Indipendints that have us cornered don't back off, they're going to loose another city or two, just like they lost New Orleans. We'll blame it on Iran and use it as a justification for nuclear first-strikes, fully declared war in the middle east, a draft and placing the whole country on a military footing--including martial law if that is what it takes to shut these whining liberals up.

Nah- he's going to claim that the Patriot Act and their
illegal spying is what has kept us safe and our "sudden"
resistance and protests of all of it is why we are attacked.
One way or another, we will be to blame.

Bush will blame the Democrats for weakening his almighty hand

41. Bush and FOX will bulldoze us
People will be scared and angry.
Americans will want protection from
whomever Bush blames for his crime,
and they will want revenge against the same.

911 fever will be in the air once again and Bush will be vindicated.

To accomplish this, 911 redux will have to be a horrible horrible attack on this country. And THAT, my friend, is what Bush and Cheney
love best.
