What if BushCo "gave" Guantanamo "back" to Cuba?
Would we be so upset? Sure it's a "bay" and not a commercial "port" but hey, it's real estate othat "we" control, by virtue of colonialism, that's in some other country. Wouldn't that be the right thing to do?

Or wait...What about that Panama Canal deal?

This whole mess is fraught with contradictions, isn't it?

1. Personally, I think Cuba ought to just take it back.
Seems to me that the lease was not with the present government, and so, should legally be a nullity.

The Florida repugs need the Cuban vote more than anything in this world. If they lose that they might as well kiss that state GOOOODBYE!
