Poll question: Bigger bush threat to America: govt spying on citizens, ME over US ports? |
|
Edited on Tue Feb-21-06 11:06 PM by Skip Intro
I don't mean to melt the bush regime crimes of treason down to these two, but these two seem to be more accessible to former bushbots - maybe people that really love this nation and are finally waking. Anyway, I chose these two.
I'll tell you - the trashing of our Forth Amendment rights by the still extremely secretive spying program just sends me off the deep end. The goddamned bastards should not be allowed to slip thru this. WE THE PEOPLE run this nation, that is what the Constitution is all about. I am shocked and dismayed and pissed the hell off that there isn't open revolt in the House and Senate over this. The thought that any Congressional investigation into these crimes might be shelved makes me want to blow a vein.
*sigh*

Spying is a bigger threat to both our way of life and to the individual being spied upon...
however, turning the port operations over to a foreign nation whose citizens are active in the real terror war, well that's a direct threat to the physical security of everyone living near that port, plus a threat to our entire economy (think NOLA and 9/11 together).
anyway, I guess the smoking gun WILL be the mushroom cloud... and that's the way Bushco WANTS it, because then it can do both with impunity.
