Get over it. It is a FACT.

I got put on "ignore call" whatever the heck that is, by the folks who have a son who slammed into my truck. I called them ONE time (afer 5 weeks of crap) to ask if they were going to fix it.

I called tonight to thank them for getting it done, since I picked up the truck.

I was "denied" leaving a message. So I used a friend's cell phone and got through. Oh We don't have "block!"

I just don't think "most" people are selfish assholes. I've realized this in a semi-scientific fashion. Here it goes:

You say "most people are selfish assholes", but as with most people, you will also say.. "except for my friends and family, they're all nice". Two door down from you, someone you don't know and does not know your friends and family will say "most people are selfish assholes", but they would exclude those they know, as they are "nice". Do you see where I'm going with this?

When I lived in L.A. and spent time in Hollywood and around the film biz, people would always say that 'everyone in the film biz and in Hollywood were assholes', EXCEPT for their own circle of friends and family. But.. if everyone thinks that everyone else is an asshole except for their friends and family, and most people are "friends or family" of someone, Then.. it's more a myth that everyone else is an asshole... it's a faulty belief.

There are a LOT of selfish assholes...seems the two attributes are found in conjunction with each other quite often and unfortunately they seem to reproduce.
But there are also a VERY large number of people who are neither selfish, nor assholes...:hi: :grouphug:
for which I am very grateful, cos without y'all I think I'd go friggin' :crazy:

them after the blocked call. Just imagine how much of a jerk they feel like now for blocking your call and then having to lie about it? At least we hope they we felt that way.....;)

19. I dare to guess most of your encounters are with people who

are not assholes.
But those are not exceptional, therefor the experience does not stick with you as much as the exceptions do.
