5. I recently switched to CNN instead of the Today Show

The GE show was just too much for me. I grew up watchign that show and while it was never really hard hitting at least it didn't openly shill for one side or the other...now it does. Thrown in the decorating and mindless cooking bits and there is really no need for it.

I watch CNN because at least they actually focus on news items and they do it in such a hilarious surreal way. I laugh out loud at something almost every morning. Oh Carol Costello ain't hard on the eyes either.

You are right about Soledad (pregnancy free for a several year streak) who shot back at Jeffrey Toobin yesterday "What about the victim no one was worried about her pain or suffering?" Toobin ignored it as they were talking about the law not lawlessness.

I cannot tell--for months I thought she was a wing nut, but now over the last year I have thought I have caught hints of sarcasm coming through from her about bushit and co?

I don't know why I try to spot this and speculate but I always do!

I think it's better than some of the other morning shows. I really like Carol Costello, she does shome good stuff sometimes.

I had been a loyal Today Show viewer for several decades. And I like CNN so much better. It focuses more on news and doesn't do that dumb fluff - like cooking segments. (If I wanted cooking help, I would watch The Food Channel!)

I think Soledad does a good job. She is infinitely better than Katie and Matt.

It was like a completely different show...Zane seemed professional, didn't opine, didn't appear to do bush cheerleading, it was quite refreshing.

Now of course it's right back to the same stupidity and drivel with that flake back from vaca.
