So let me get this str8. Bush Federlises Airport Security |
|
So let me get this straight:
Private Security isnt good enough for our airports and skies, so Bush federlizes airport security and creates the TSA because so that we'll be safer. (that we are not is another matter)
However, Federal security at ports isnt good enough for the entire interior of the country, so he privatizes it!
yea that makes sense.

1. What in the hell is "federlize" or "federlise"? |
|
Is that like putting Kevin Federline in charge of something?

2. Ummm... security is not being privatized... |
|
this is only about the drudge operations of moving containers around.
Customs will still be checking for contraband.
INS will still be checking for illegals and bad guys.
FDA and Agriculture will still be checking for unhealthy things.
The Coast Guard will still be there.
Local and port police will still be there.
Local port officials will still be in charge.
Nothing about security is changing. The good, the bad, and the ugly will still be doing the same jobs they've been doing.

One minute he is federalizing things (yes I spelled it wrong again), the next he is privatizing things.
