Were Bill Clinton President and had he presided over the proposed sale of US ports to any mideastern nation in the aftermath of 9/11 there would be torches and pitchforks raised high on Pennsylvania Avenue. It would looke like the night scene from the original Frankenstein.

The mobs would not have been calling for impeachment, they would have been calling for quarterning.

7. I picked up (at a second-hand store for a quarter, overpriced) a

book which was trying to detail how Clinton/Gore was destroying our national security by allowing Chinese ships into our ports without screening the cargo.

THAT'S IN OUR PORTS!!! Now Bush has decided to allow the ports to fall into the power of countries which SPONSOR TERRORISM (according to Bush's own intelligence, not personal, but national security level).

Mind you, Joe Schlub, regular Fox viewer, wouldn't be able to tell an Saudi from someone from Dubai, or, for that matter, someone from Cuba . . . but they call LEFTIES RACIST . . .

9. I've ben using the "If Clinton had tried this" rational for while.

"If Clinton had ______________ what do you think the Republicans would have done?"

If Clinton had:

a) not had one "Terroism" meeting up until 9/12/01 and ignored the August 6th "Osama to Strike" PDA...
b) had ties to any of the Enron, Abrahmoff, Tom Delay, Scandals...
c) had a male Prostitute "Reporter" parading around the Press Corps with unfettered access to the White House...
d) had waited for 5 days to act on the 2004 Tsunami ((not to spoil his vacation)...
e) had waited 5 days to act on Hurricane Katrina (not to spoil his vacation)...
f) had documentation that proved his reasons for war with Iraq were fabricated (aka Downingstreet Memos)...
g) had his cabinet leak the name of a covert CIA operative in order to smear her husband who didn't back his war...
h) had his Vice President wait 14 hours before he was questioned about his role of nearly blew a guys head off in a hunting accident...

The list goes on and on.... but still Bush is teflon.
