Cuba had role in Kennedy killing: documentary
BERLIN - Cuba's intelligence services played a role in the 1963 assassination of U.S. President John F. Kennedy, a German documentary to be shown on TV this Friday alleges.

The film by journalist Wilfried Huismann says Kennedy's killer, Lee Harvey Oswald, travelled to Mexico City a few weeks before the assassination and met agents from Cuba's G-2 intelligence service.

"Oswald ... did not act on his own but rather was motivated, encouraged and supported by a foreign power: namely Cuba," said Huismann in an interview with the newspaper Die Welt.

Among witnesses quoted in the film are Oscar Marino, a former Cuban spy, and Rolando Cubela who is described as a double-agent sent by the U.S. to murder Cuban leader Fidel Castro but who was also involved in efforts to kill Kennedy.

3. It wasn't Oswald in Mexico City
It was a double, and a poor one at that.

It was Cuban exiles who had something to do with the Kennedy assassination, if anyone...

6. Correct.
This has been totally discredited. It should not be considered as seriously as the possibility that Cuba played a role in killing Paul and having him replaced with a double agent from the Rolling Stones.

8. Here's a picture of the 'Mexico City Oswald'

Hmm...That's even worse than the Fat Osama guy! This guy is at least 30 lbs heavier than Oswald, and has a new bald spot (that isn't there whan Oswald was arrested in Dallas).

In fact, I'm not sure WHY anyone thought this guy was Oswald, other than the fact that this guy said he was Oswald at the Soviet embassy (in a very high profile visit, I might also add...). There's *maybe* a little bit of resemblance in the face, which is undoubtedly why they hired him, but not very much at all...

9. I'm trying to remember
the name of a book that came out somewhere around the early 1970s, where the author (who had intelligence connections) interviewed this fellow. Thanks for posting those pictures -- they really tell a story, eh?

4. Batista Cubans in the US, certainly
I sincerely doubt Castro had anything to do with it. After all, Kennedy had reneged on air support for the Bay of Pigs fiasco. He wasn't a friend to Castro, but he was far less a threat than most others in the line of succession might have been.

Nah, this theory doesn't pass the sniff test. Neither did the Warren Commission whitewash. What we know for certain is that we don't know who was behind it. I hope some day we will.

17. Read about Operation Northwoods
That's a start. And Poppy Bush wrote a letter once to someone in Cuba telling him what a good job he was doing of "telling the truth."
