Apparently, we couldn't kill bin Laden one time because he was keeping company with the UAE royals and we didn't want to kill them too.

There's a change there's a pic of that floating around, and if that was side by side with Bush meeting with the same leaders, that would take this port story to next level.

I've got to go to class in a few minutes, but can work on this later today--unless someone can beat me to the punch.

The Central Intelligence Agency did not target Al Qaeda chief Osama bin laden once as he had the royal family of the United Arab Emirates with him in Afghanistan, the agency's director, George Tenet, told the National Commission on Terrorist Attacks on the United States on Thursday.

Had the CIA targeted bin Laden, half the royal family would have been wiped out as well, he said.

so why aren't we bombing the UAE into democracy? :shrug:
