White foster parents kept black foster children in cages |
|
Edited on Wed Feb-22-06 04:45 PM by 951-Riverside
I just saw the story quickly go by on Court TV does anyone know more about this case?
Edit: I tried looking on the CourtTV website and I found absolutely nothing but what I did see was a photo and at the bottom of the screen it mentioned they pleaded not guilty.

1. When the original story came out... |
|
They only reported that the foster parent's kept the kids in cages...the explanation that the fosters gave was they put the children in cages to protect the children. From what I remember most if not all of the children are mentally challenged and are various ages...
But the media never mentioned that the Fosters were white and the Children were black.....Wow!! I am furious....
I think the story came out last summer...I don't remember what state.

5. If it's the same case, that happened |
|
in Huron Ohio. About 45 minutes from me. I believe there were 11 adopted children in all that they kept in cages. They said it was to protect the children from harming themselves. Crazy people. I really don't know the color of the skin. The parents are white. I think they are trying to get the children back if you can believe that!!!

6. So there were questions of abuse... |
|
Why were these people allowed to adopt any of the children?

12. So which are you more mad about? |
|
(A) That it was White on Black abuse?
or
(B) That it was child abuse?
The reason I ask is that child abuse is a problem in virtually every community, among every ethnic group, among every economic class.
So why is this case so notable? I refer you back to the first question.
As for me.... any child abuse is the fucking problem, and the penalties aren't near harsh enough.
