I'm getting pretty tired of Bush saying he didn't know anything about...
...it every time he gets into political hot water. We're NOT that freaking stupid!

Bush on Plame leak: I didn't know anything about it
Bush on Katrina aftermath: I didn't know anything about it
Bush on Ports sale: I didn't know anything about it
Etc. etc. etc. ad naseum.

If our President is so completely unaware of ANYTHING that's going on in the USA, what the freak do we HAVE a President for?

Bush is lying through his chimpanzee teeth! He's just pointing fingers at anyone other than the person who is really to blame - himself! What a self-serving crock of sheet...

1. It is bullshit - 100% - and at this point it implies that either this is
the canned answer he'll always give, or he really doesn't know what the fuck is going on and someone else is calling the shots. Either way, I'm tired of listening to this asshole and his henchmen.

If I were in charge of his PR I'd be mortified to trot Scotty out there every day and claim Bush was out of the loop on the issue du jour. But somehow, it flies, every time...

6. I was thinking, how in the hell could he not know about
a bill he freakin' SIGNED????? Then I flashed on that scene in the movie "Dave", where Frank Langella's character signed those bills, and Dave had absolutely no idea about it. Not saying that's what's going on, but given that I don't think Chimpy McCokespoon actually functions as President, it's not too much a stretch of the imagination, is it?

Of course, lying and false denial are absolutely plausible.

11. Yet he's so believable
When he tells me I didn't know... well you know I think he probably doesn't know. Heck he's got the feel of the guy in the chicken suit holding the big arrow trying to lure you into the used car dealership.

15. The first statement I heard him make about the deal....
was that he would veto any attempt to stop it. (That was yesterday or even the day before, I believe.) So, he obviously wasn't shocked or dismayed by the "news."

"Bush didn't know," is a feeble attempt at damage control.

17. If he was in Abu Gharib
We could beat the living shit out of him until he remembers something.

Never believe a liar when he says he does not know something. Ollie north played I dunno game and so did Reagan and countless other rich evil thugs..How can we help them"remember" short of beating the shit out of them?

18. Yeah, And While We're On This Subject
If he didn't know about the port firm sale until a few days ago, what possible reason would he have for digging in his heels? Wouldn't it make more sense to say, "Well, i didn't know about this, so we're going to put a hold on this, as the Congress is suggesting, and make sure this is the right thing."? Instead he threatens a veto.

About something he didn't even know about?
