1. Iraq has been in a civil war
in all but name since the summer of 2003. Now it's just official.

The world was a better place with Saddam Hussein in power. Maybe his political opponents are better off now, but the rest of the world is not. That country needs a strongman.

7. For people who live as tribes a strong man was needed
Not that I like Saddam or how he treated his people but letting a tribal leader rule has been with these people a long time. Hard to stop that.It is like we were at the start of this country. We had sort of some say on how we were gov. for 100's of years so what we did was within our framework. Well we started pushing for rights back to King John. Your history does count as you move to wards things.
