UAE Deal Could be a Strategic move to Invade Iran
I've been looking at a map of the middle east And the UAE looks like a necessary area for the invasion of Iran. If I was a military strategist I'd think this would be a key area for the Navy.

2. Well, if the USA does start a war with Iran, the UAE would now get
a nice share of the shipping pie. And as you mentioned, there is no way the USA could launch an invasion with out the assistance of the UAE (and Saudi Arabia). So, your point is valid.
