UAE deal. Now that it is dawning on him that if he vetoes any legislation, it is very likely that Congress has the votes to override his veto, do you think he will change his mind about his very first veto? And, if he changes his mind about the veto, is that a flip flop? What a loser we have for a president.

Actually the worst thing that could happen for Bush is for him to veto and not over-ridden. He doesn't have to worry about popularity since he's lame duck - unless the GOP loses control of Congress.

In order for someone to change their mind...they must first have a mind. This buffoon fails the test. He is nothing but a dummy that is being manipulated by those who are more crafty than he. Think Cheney/Evil Incarnate.

Congress overrides the veto and Bush sells the ports anyway, claiming that the Congress gave him the power when it voted to have him deal with 9-11 and that he's the Commander-in-Chief. The usual "make me" stance. Constitutional crisis.
