Edited on Wed Feb-22-06 11:10 PM by JohnLocke

Al-Ittihad, January 24, 2006
Translation:
Top - The Robbery
Over Gun - The Holocaust

Al-Ittihad, November 27, 2004
The cartoon's headline : "After the election of the new President", and the Jew is saying: "We will start stirring up confusion in the world again!"

Al-Ittihad, January 15, 2004
On the right - 1948; on the left - 2004

Al-Bayan, December 22, 2005

Al-Ittihad, October 27, 2004
The American in the middle is watching Bush and Kerry wrestling, saying (about the Jew): "He is laughing since he is the only one who knows who will win the elections"

Al-Ittihad, September 23, 2004
In Arabic, on the box: "Ballot box of the American elections". The Jew is sitting on the box, asking the American: "Who did you vote?"

Al-Ittihad, September 19, 2004
The voters are voting on one side "Bush" and on the other "Kerry", while Sharon is waiting for the results".

Al-Ittihad, August 28, 2004
On the left: "Elect Bush, the Republican Party's candidate"; on the right: "Elect Kerry, the Democratic Party's candidate". The man on the right is asking his friend: "Who do you think will win?" His friend is answering: "Sharon, of course".

Al-Ittihad, August 25, 2004
On the right: "Elect Bush, the Republican Party's candidate"; on the left: "Elect Kerry, the Democratic Party's candidate". In both of the signs, Sharon's picture appears.

Al-Ittihad, July 31, 2004
In Arabic: "The Congress"

Al-Ittihad, June 14, 2004
The cartoon's headline: "The competition still continues". Bush is putting Stars of David in a ballot box of the Republican Party, while Kerry is putting Stars of David in a ballot box of the Democratic Party. Below: "The American elections".

Al-Ittihad, November 22, 2004
The cartoon's headline: "The Oath." The "W" on the sleeve implies the swearing-in of President George W. Bush.

1. Somebody drew bush better
than Kerry. I don't really get their sense of humor.

3. I think it boils down to Jews and Israel are bad.
Editorial cartoons are interesting. I don't agree with them, but it shows an interesting mindset. Thank you for posting this (OP)

5. I wonder why they could possibly
think that? ;)

I wonder what Israel thinks of whomever is in charge selling 6 of our New York Ports to the UAE?

11. Not what I get
Edited on Wed Feb-22-06 11:45 PM by FreedomAngel82
I get the bias Americans have towards Israel over other countries such as Iran and Palestine. They're showing how no matter who wins in the end Sharon will win the favor of both political parties and how nobody gives a damn about other countries like Palestine. In some of the others they believe the Jews rule the world and everything involved with it.

12. True and put much better than my quick note
They are saying that Jews rule the world rather than Jews are bad. Complaining that they rule the world is what I meant by being bad. Sorry. That and just a general jewish focus.

It's the least we can do for such nice folks.

16. I'm sure you could find radical cartoonists in every country
that has media for them. Are you arguing against the substance of these cartoons or against the entire UAE based on these cartoons?

18. I didn't know that.
Is a blue Star of David a political symbol(Israel's flag), or an ethnic or religious one for you?
(I'm not being a smart-ass, serious question.)

23. This is the big question
Is the whole of Israel and it's symbols a representation of Judaism or the Sovereign State of Israel?

20. Jews and Arabs don't get along
Do you have some other startling news you'd like to share?

And why are we supposed to support the right of cartoonists to draw Muhammed and not support the right to draw these??

And this has what to do with anything anyway.

The two main (almost exclusive) newspapers are Gulfnews and Khaleej Times...

25. Which doesn't matter to me personally
It's their illegal actions and connections to terrorists that matter to me. It's what's been done that matters, not what's been printed in a newspaper.
