Poll question: Coke or Pepsi?
The posturing has begun. Dems are pandering to the Nascar crowd and the Repugs are tilting against Big Business (re: Dubai).

I just don't see that much difference anymore. Kucinich? Dean? No... they're too Liberal! Nascar dads and Soccer Moms won't vote for them.

Jesus. When did we become populated with those aberrations?

The truth is as old as Twain. We have the best politicians money can buy. Unfortunately, the money isn't American money any more.

11. When I lived in Brasil, I saw Coke and Pepsi signs EVERYWHERE.
One of the cities where I lived was mostly owned by Coca Cola... the stadium, arena, race track, amusement park, many schools and sports teams. In fact, it is mostly impossible to drink domestic products anymore at big, public events. Every large music concert I went to was hosted by Coca Cola... it was the same at the New Orleans Jazz Fest last year. Miller Beer and Nokia now owns jazz, blues, and funk music. :puke:

If he's considered liberal, it just goes to show how far to the right the party has drifted.

What ARE you talking about dear? What pandering to the Nascar crowd?

20. Neither, we quit drinking pop a year ago October...and even though it was
diet pop, within a month hubby and I both lost a smashing quick 15 pounds.

We only drink water, juice and tea now.

We feel better too. I stopped getting regular headaches (it is rare that I get them now).

Still hooked on da coffe though :)

when you said "pop"! :) Awww....what fond memories I get hearing that word from my childhood home. Everything is "soda" out here in CA and I don't touch the stuff. I'm hooked on da coffee too.

28. Yeah..'Pop" is definitely a Midwestern thang
So is "warsh" and "crick"..bet you know what those words are!

When I lived in FLA for a awhile, it was either Soda..or else everything pop was Coke...if it was brown it was Coke...no matter even if it was Pepsi. It was like Coke was generic for all brown cola.

27. Coke...Just Barely...Old 70's Boycotting Still In Effect
When Pepsico put Nixon on their board of directors after Watergate, I swore I'd never touch another Pepsi or Pepsi product. That boycott still remains today. I won't drink a Pepsi or Mountain Dew or go to a Pizza Hut. I used to like KFC, but when Pepsico bought them, all my business went to others...no more finger lickin' good for me.

Coke's secretive business practices and ham-handed messing with Latin American politics cannot go unmentioned, but since this was an either/or poll...there's the either.
