OMIGAWD!! Dubai: "Visit the USA: Streamlined Visa Processing"
If you are Mexican, forget it. But if you are Arab from Dubai, you get to visit with an electronic VISA!!!! WTF!!! Look at the date of this! Bush is really tough on immigration!! HAHA! But if you are CAt Stevens, expect to have every crack probed and then be denied a visit!!!

PRESS RELEASE
February 14, 2006

The Department of State, the U.S. Embassy in Abu Dhabi and the Consulate General in Dubai have recently taken steps to further expedite visa processing for travel to the United States. An important part of this new streamlined procedure is the use of the Electronic Visa Application Form (EVAF). This form is now required for all Nonimmigrant Visa applications in order to expedite visa interviews and processing.

Use of the Electronic Visa Application Form (EVAF)

The EVAF is a simple, online internet application that allows visa applicants to fill out their visa applications on the internet. The use of the EVAF will result in shorter lines and waiting time since visa clerks will no longer need to manually enter visa application information.

3. Interesting
I just checked out the US Embassy in London site as a for instance, the Brits being close allies of ours, and there's no such streamlined program for nonimmigrant visas there. If it's delays in the visa application system they're trying to overcome then I'd imagine expediting the process with this EVAF would be warranted in the UK too...I mean, do planeloads of UAE citizens arrive in the US each day on holiday?

9. So does this mean special treatment to UAE and not Great Britain?
Doesn't this go against what Bush just said the other day about treating countries differently...

...oh never mind.

Bush is a real piece of work, so is his administration.

10. K&N How many weeks before the media and Congress catch up on this one?
Sometimes it feels like it is already too late. Too many disasters, catastrophies, crimes perpetrated by the Bush Regime.

12. Combine this with the information in THIS THREAD by a Coast Guard vet:
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=364x481615
thread title (2-20-06 GD): The Dubai Ports World Deal - Through a Coast Guard Veteran's Eyes
Comment/excerpt: DU Coast Guard veteran Coastie for Truth details four ways of how the “Port Service Company” is in a unique and powerful position to either block or promote vulnerabilities to smuggling of contraband or secret entry without a passport (using “merchant marine documents” which function like a mini-passport). Poster concludes “Historically - in my active duty days - we were looking for drug smugglers. But these techniques could work with terrorists and dirty bombs. And Dubai is "A" cross roads of the world.”

Expedited visas = easier infiltration?
