"donations from Abramoff and his clients" -- translation
What this means:

If the person who took "donations from Abramoff and his clients" is a Republican, there is a good likelihood it means just what it says: a republican took donations both from Abramoff directly and from someone who was an Abramoff client.

If the person who took "donations from Abramoff and his clients" is a Democrat, however, what this really means is: "donations from someone who was an Abramoff client." We know this because Abramoff didn't directly donate to Democrats.

Perhaps we should bombard the lamestream media with requests to be more accurate. Semantically, it would be a lie to say that a person who received donations from person B but not from person A received donations from "person A and person B." I guess the LSM doesn't care too much for journalistic integrity these days -- maybe we should remind them.

Not that there probably isn't a DINO or two embroiled in this, but the media needs to know we are awake.

2. Abramoff had Microsoft as a lobbying client in 2004.
Edited on Wed Jan-04-06 02:11 PM by TahitiNut
By the convoluted logic of cornered rats, the Repukelickers would have people believe that anyone receiving campaign contributions from Microsoft is somehow "dirty."

There seem to be no limits to the extent to which these bastards lie and deceive.

7. Right! EVERY SINGLE POLITICIAN IN THE COUNTRY MUST BE GUILTY!
Because pretty much every politician probably got some money from at least ONE of Abramoff's clients at one time or another.

The Indian tribes were Abramoff's VICTIMS. He stole money from them. That's the crime. Their political donations are NOT a crime.

Infuriating ain't it to see how many idiots are sucked in by the bullshit Repub propoganda?

Great post, you should start a new thread w/ that list.
