WJ: Hotline Poll...Democrats With Big Gains

Chuck Todd looked like someone just blew up his bright shiny toy...a bunch of their own polls that showed some interesting numbers.

First...according to this poll boooosh's approval rating "remains" at 45%. Todd had to get that news out first, cause that's all the good he had for the GOOP.

Next, he mentioned on the generic Congressional "would you vote for a Democrat or a Repugnican" (the House control question)...those favoring Democrats went from a +2 in their January poll and a +9 in this one. And this was before the UAE port fiasco.

Lastly he said in their mythical head-to-head of Hillary vs. McCain, McCain's lead had shrunk...(who cares!)...and that Hillary's approvals over the past month went from 48% approval to 52%...a big jump (especially in this poll).

While it's still a long way out from November, this is encouraging news and hopefully will encourage more people to get involved with Democratic campaigns this year. Hopefull we can use this momentum for some short-term gains...getting Ciro elected in Texas, Lamont as the candidate in Conn. and so on...and start not only sending a message (and one hell of a shiver) up the corporate media and beltway establishment...but also to encourage more and more people to join us to bring about a change and return some sanity and accountability to this country.
