Breaking on CNN: Bush says "people don't need to worry about security
Referring to debate over foreign operations of U.S. ports, President Bush says "people don't need to worry about security."

No story yet, just the banner.

I saw the brief news conference, and I thought...whoa he's trying to
sell this, but it's not working at all (that was my opinion anyway)
- the hypocrisy on this is soooooo blatant -

edit:typo

16. What percentage do you think will be convinced by Bush?
We're already seeing the spin and damage control, and it's early yet. (We really should take bets on this). I'll say 50-60% of Republicans will be talked out of being very, very afraid and maybe 10% of Democrats.

19. good question - hmm, I'll say 65-70% of Repugs will still be against
it even after the spin, and only a handful of Dem's will be for it
(like 1 or 2 Senators - and a couple of Dem's in congress)

(the reason I say this, is the blatant blatant hypocrisy of having
an Arab Government own US ports after years of war and fear fear fear
is inescapable)

7. Why?
Because you don't? I don't know what pisses me off more, the fact that this prick actually still thinks that anything he says is reassuring or that some idiots out there will actually be reassured.

security. The pit in my stomach sure as hell does not come from worrying about terrorists.

13. you mean I bought all that duct tape for nothing?
and I've been spending the last 4 years wrapping my home in plastic in reaction to this admins warnings that the brown skin people in the middle east are evil doers and want to kill us.

Suddenly we're safe? We don't need to worry about it any more?

Imagine all the money we could have made by just selling them the US instead of spending it all killing them over there so they couldn't kill us over here?

Total freekin insanity.:wtf:
