The Bush Code: Loyalty Uber Alles
This port deal is another peek into the Bush Family Code. This code becomes especially apparent when Bush's actions go against just about everyone, even those in his disciple-like party. The right-wingers might cheer when Bush appoints former industry lobbyists to oversee their industries and pass massive tax breaks for the super-rich, but when Bush stuck by Alberto Gonzales and Harriet Miers for their appointments despite objections from his base, you can see the code that W lives by.

It is a code of loyalty. He adheres to this code with admirable stubbornness. At least, it would be admirable if it weren't so destructive to the nation. If you are Bush's friend and have assisted him in any way, he WILL assist you back, more often than not with a Government-sanctioned way to make tons of money for yourself, even at the expense of the public good. If you are a foreign royal family that has invested in the Bush family's businesses, you will be rewarded handsomely, whether you are from Saudi Arabia or the UAE.

True, these regimes support terrorism in significant ways. But this is not a concern in the Bush Code. Who are the victims of terror? The victims are innocent Arabs and western civilians, including those in the United States. Well, guess what, the great majority of civilians in the world hate George W. Bush, and a majority of American citizens did not vote for him. Therefore, if you follow the Bush Code, where must your loyalty lie? It's a no-brainer. It must lie with the Saudi and UAE Royals. This support will result in more victims of terror, but screw them, they never did anything for Bush or his Dad!

Another side of the Bush Code is that Bush will practically never break the code himself. But if a friend or supporter breaks their loyalty, the Code demands that they be tarred and feathered. Think of the treatment of Paul O'Neill after publicly disclosing Bush's apparent incompetence in cabinet meetings or the fact that Bush's first National Security meeting in January 2001 was about getting rid of Saddam Hussein. Think of what they did to Richard Clark, a man who served many presidents including Bush's father to the point of personal praise, after Clark exposed Bush's post-9/11 agenda of using the attack to further his goal of invading Iraq.

And why in God's Name would you appoint Michael Brown to head the freakin' Federal Emergency Management Agency? It's simple. Bush's friend had an old college buddy who got fired from the Arabian Horse Association and he needed a job. No credentials necessary. Loyalty Uber Alles.

THE BUSH CODE OF LOYALTY

1. Family.
2. Personal Friends and Supporters.
3. Business Partners.
4. Private and Corporate Political Contributors.

Unfortunately for us, the U.S. Constitution is not listed in the Bush Code, because it is simply a piece of paper that is unable to give Bush money or praise him in front of a crowd. But consider people like Ken Lay, who is a personal friend of the family and huge contributor to Bush's campaigns. Per the Bush Code, it is perfectly reasonable for Lay to be invited to write the entire nation's energy policy in secret when he has a huge vested interest in his energy business and no interest in the public good.

Assist Bush in a significant way and he will move mountains to make you rich. Cross him, and you better watch your ass.

1. Here's another: Committed a crime or Cover-up for BushCo
That will also get you vested in. It's one of the most powerful ways to assure loyalty - make sure everyone you appoint to key positions committed a felony, and will have to work like hell to obstruct prosecution of the other members.
