Does anyone know of any sleepwalking republicans who have awaken... |

to the liars in the white house yet? If some haven't opened their eyes I don't know what it will take because, if Bush and cheney carry out their planned fake terrorist attacks they may really fall into a deeper sleep. Some of these people really believe they are being protected? Duh...

I, like everyone here, have been thinking about the possibility of another 9/11...
I caught the phrase 'planned fake terrorist attacks' in your post and was intrigued enough that 2 questions popped into my head:
1). I read a lot on the 'Net--and we're all aware that many liberals/leftists don't believe there is a 'war on terror' or that we face some vast, real threat from an Islamic jihad. All things considered, if there was another 9/11-style attack on the USA, how many here think that it couldn't be anybody BUT Bush & Co. that was involved?
2). What would be the difference between an attack from outside of this country, and an attack from inside by Bush? I mean, what would be the best way we could tell that Bush was responsible for it rather than some terrorists (Islamic or otherwise.)?

Bush and cheney can tell us anything and they can plan anything, because they are so secretive. We can't trust them because they lied about the iraq thing and all of the rest.
The true believers will believe anything because they think he is protecting them and he will use this anytime someone questions his motives.
We couldn't tell anyway because the borders are open and there are terrorists here already. When he first started that we are fighting them over there, so we don't have to fight them over here, I thought how are we protected everything is open.
If terrorist are here they can do anything. Look at what happened with Katrina.

of bush. These are not radical repubs, just plain dedicated repubs, so, this MAY be a good sign. This is Okla. and that is saying something.

So, this is heartening to say the least. I feel like a fish out of water here. Won't even put my DU bumber sticker on. Have thought of putting it on my dash. Am I a coward? Yes
By the way, these are people that make from $100,000 to 200,000 or more per year as best I can tell. Better yet, one is a cabinet maker and thinks he is rich and is now backing off bush.

8. I just hope all these change of hearts go beyond Bush or we'll just get |

more Repugs in '06 and '08. Bush is rotten, no doubt, but the GOP itself needs to been seen for the crooks that they are.

11. I've got a friend who was seriously awakened after Katrina |
|
He's a conservative christian who was always a little leery of Bush's claims of christianity. After Katrina, he was the one who sent me the email of the two Pres. Bush's fishing in downtown NO as the bodies floated by. My friend was totally disgusted that it took the government 4 days to respond to the people's needs, and that Anderson Cooper, Harry Connick, and even Shepard Smith were doing more for the stranded people than the federal government.
