Navy Capt. Scott Phillpott told FOX News in a statement Monday evening that the lead hijacker in the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks was identified as someone with ties to known terrorists. Phillpott, a 22-year active duty serviceman, would not provide more detail, except to say that he is going through the proper channels at the Department of Defense.
"I will not discuss this outside of my chain of command. I have briefed the Department of the Army, the Special Operations Command and the office of (Undersecretary of Defense for Intelligence) Dr. Cambone as well as the 9/11 Commission. My story has remained consistent. Atta was identified by Able Danger in January/February 2000," he wrote.http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,166504,00.htmlSo far so good. But why does nobody ask instead of wondering how come Atta was identified 13 times prior to 911
How come that Atta was identified although he wasn't in the US?According to all accounts and the Commission Report Atta first entered the US on June 3, 2000.
(Commission Report, 498)

June is not exactly January or February.
Either all official accounts of Atta entering the US for the first time are clear lies (why would they lie about it? and for whom was the visa issued in Berlin on May 18, 2000 and who send mails to flight schools?) or we have a case of two Attas.
Either way it certainly deserves clarification.
