James A. Baker Key to Dubai Ports Mess
Baker Key to Dubai Ports Mess
by Anacher Forester
Thu Feb 23, 2006 at 12:09:34 PM PDT

Former Reagan Chief-of-Staff, ex-Treasury Secretary, ex-Secretary of State, ex-NSC Council Member, ex-GWB chief legal advisor, etc, and recent US Special Envoy for Iraq debt is the invisible man in the middle of this mess.

James A. Baker is Senior Partner of Baker Botts, a legal firm very active in Middle East affairs perhaps never more visibly then as legal representation for the Saudi Royal family in the lawsuits brought by the families of 9/11 victims. Baker Botts happens to include Halliburton among its many clients and is active in Egypt, Kuwait and Dubai, too.

5. Katherine Armstrong was a paid lobbyist for Baker-Botts.
Armstrong owned the ranch where Cheney shot Whittington. With that James Baker connection, I wonder if Katherine Armstrong ever lobbied for UAE.

2. So, THE JANITOR is what has this country in a snit?
Not to mention that he's Whittington's bro-in-law. What a reach this rat bastard has, huh?

Peace.

3. It all makes sense now
This really is about money. At first I thought it was for the republicans to use a security deal and get Haliburton or some other Bush friendly company but now I'm wondering.

4. Was Baker on the hunting weekend?
Was he at the Armstrong ranch? I know someone said Baker's sister is married to Whittington - did we verify that? We do know that Armstrong lobbies for Baker Botts.
