1. I wonder if they realized that talking up the supposed Dem links

to Abromoff may only serve to highlight the actual absense of Dems in reality? Maybe they were really hoping that more dems would be involved, but are really victems of their own success in shuting dems out of the process?

Am I being too optimistic?
