CNN is saying that any further events in Iraq...
may indeed tip the country into full blown civil war. I think it will happen. If the insurgents know what CNN knows, that's what they'll do. I fear the worst days in Iraq may be ahead. I pray for our courageous troops. IMPEACH BUSH AND CHENEY NOW!

5. Yep, if the media is talking about it. It's already happened.
I so wish they would pull it together and make it, in spite of us.

10. It was civil war once the first insurgent shot off the first round
It has always been a civil war... and a war against the aggressors who invaded Iraq, "US"!

:sarcasm:

I've been screaming that this would happen since before we went into Iraq. So were many, many others. But there's no joy in being right in hindsight, none at all. I'd give anything to have been wrong about this.

Get our troops the hell out of there NOW. IMPEACH NOW!

14. When will we learn that if we are going to invade a country, for whatever
reasons, right or wrong, we have to have sufficient numbers of troops.

500,000 at least is what we need in Iraq.

18. The correspondents over in Iraq are making it very clear:
The situation over there is the worst it has been -- EVER. All the cheerleaders and BFEE apologists are beginning to look like Shrubya during Katrina. We can see with our own eyes the riots in the streets, the deterioration of any semblance of order and descent into chaos. Don't tell us we're "winning" ... God be with our troops and keep them safely out of this as much as possible.

Edited on Thu Feb-23-06 07:24 PM by mzmolly
WE should have stayed the F out of Kuwait long ago, and only "aided" opposition to Saddam Hussein. We can thank Bush 1 and 2 for the BS situation we are in today.

22. We're In A Shooting Gallery Now...Are Contractors Still There?
My tip-off that things have really gone to hell is when the number of American mercenary contractors shrink in that country. If Haliburton doesn't think they're safe (and this comes from a company that thinks nothing of putting a suicide jockey in a gasoline tanker with little protection and drive it right through the heart of an Iraqi city), then that says how things have deteriorated. The writing was on the wall recently when von Rumstadt and others stopped talking about "reconstruction" projects and how all the money they're scamming now is strictly for "defensive" purposes.

In their oil lust, greed and myopic, arrogant and ignorant worldview, this regime has taken a region that was unstable in the best of times and unleashed all the dogs. This is a worse scenario than Vietnam where we were seen as an occupier by one side, in this case we're not only seen as the occupiers, but the cause of all this bloodshed by ALL sides. Our military will be made to take side and any side they take will always be the wrong one.

23. The only thing we're protecting in Iraq
is the Green Zone. It we go outside of Fort Knox we get picked off like ducks in a shooting gallery. Yes, things are going very well.

C'mon Bush let's hurry and do the same thing in Iran. Chop chop.

Edited on Thu Feb-23-06 07:29 PM by Hissyspit
It's been a controlled boil for a long time now. The only reason they think it hasn't been civil war so far is because they have bought into the propaganda.

OF THE ELECTRONIC AND PRINT MEDIA SAYING THAT?

bush:

you are to blame. youare to blame. you are to blame. you are to blame. you are to blame.you are to blame.

the fault is yours. the fault is yours. the fault is yours. the fault is yours. the fault is yours.
