Do republican's get it now?
Sorry to be broken record, but they're now or at least getting a whole heap of what we've been screaming about for almost 6 sorry years.

Come to light my brothers and sisters, and maybe just maybe we can save our country.

8. I have been trolling freeperville during the last couple of days and
yes, on the whole most are really mad, even calling * names. (oh the horror).

They are planning a rally to stop the Dubai Deal.

10. younger Republicans and independents are finally seeing the light..
Edited on Fri Feb-24-06 12:27 AM by flaminbats
most of the older, lifelong Republicans I know still view Bush as some kind of compassionate conservative who only wants the best for everyone. A lot of these older Republicans, many of them former Democrats, seem shocked or surprised when I bring up the port issue. One of these zealots asked "where in the world did you hear that, Ted Kennedy??"

One of them told me that "Bush would never sell America out, but he must be doing this deal for an unexplained beneficial purpose!"

It amazes me how high they set the bar for Democrats they will never support, but how low these old timers set the bar for candidates in the Republican primary! Yet most of the younger Republicans and libertarians I have talked to have gone from being solid Bush backers in the past two elections..to currently favoring his impeachment. After months of despair, I think Democrats have a shot of winning this year, but they better not let us down!
