Saudis refuse to withhold Hamas aid

Saudi Arabia has joined the list of Arab countries that are unwilling to agree to America's request to cut off money to Hamas.

Saudi Arabia gives the Palestinian Government $US15 million ($A20.3 million) a month. Its Foreign Minister, Prince Saud al-Faisal, told US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice during meetings on Wednesday that "it would be the height of irony, at the time when we need to take care of these people who are seeking peace, that we shall fall short of doing so".

On Tuesday, Egypt rejected calls to withhold aid from Hamas, the radical Islamist movement that won last month's Palestinian elections. American officials said they had discussed the issue with other Arab nations and received similar responses.

1. It is good to see Arab nations coming together
To achieve a lasting Peace in the Middle East
we must involve as many countries in the region
as possible.

3. Is that what you think?

If yes, please state so plainly for all to see.

We must achieve peace with the players we have,
not the players you wish we had.

#1. It was a joke. Its rediculous to even consider.

#2 It was a question characterized by the "?".
