freerepublic speaks re: ports fiasco
"To: jimbo123
Yep... that's it in a nutshell.

Disagree with the administration, and you're an enemy of the state. It's disgusting. "

Tee hee.

Welcome to the club boys and girls! We've been enemies of the state for years and years!

1. That's exactly what I was saying earlier in another thread...
THAT tack is a very bad one to take on this...the last thing they want to do is clue these people in that maybe WE haven't been traitors this whole time...disagreeing with the administration does not a terrorist sympathizer make.

4. Maybe you missed the memo....
The hate spew from Coulter, Limbaugh, Malkin, et. al for the past few years has definitely branded anyone who disagrees as a terrorista and treasonous--Even mean Jean Schmidt just came right out and called anyone who disagreed a coward, and Woe to anyone even professing that they voted for Clinton as that person is nothing but an accessory to murder or some other spurious nefarious crime.

So screw 'em if they want to find that they agree with the side of the enlightened for once. Just nudge them in the short ribs and whisper sweet progressiveisms into their ear. See how long they can stand the heat. Give 'em a wink and remind them that the NSA is listening when they disagree with the Bushies, and that their TV knows what they do at night.

Let the free republic yahoos take this to heart, and maybe they will slink back down into their survival shelters and go back to the shortwave.

5. I don't think this administration got the memo
It's not a good idea to reveal their propaganda methodology too clearly.

3. Jeez, I don't think the camps are gonna be as much fun as I had hoped,
what with all those FReepers around. If I gotta get locked up I was at least hoping it wouldn't be with a buncha humorless flat-earth fundies.
