Poll question: Will port deal make freepers and others wonder about Bush & 9/11? |
|
It is finally hitting the mainstream that there are far fewer steps to connect Bush with bin Laden than to connect Saddam or anyone whose toenails we're pulling out in Gitmo or Abu Ghraib.
Will people take the next small step to wonder if his friends might have done him a favor on 9/11?

Go over to FReep and look at the mess this has caused.
I won't say that most people have made all the connections that we've made, but many of the FReepers feel really betrayed by this.

5. Hard to say, hard to say. |

But koolaid only goes so far.
Especially with the libertarians, who are a significant portion of Bush's base, and who have been on the edge for a while now.
Even the fundies seem to be wobbling.

|

4. couldn't Democrats have gotten here sooner if they ran Michael Moore's |
|
clip where Bush toasts the "Haves and have mores"?
This issue has been there all along, but the Dems haven't picked it up and used it as a stick to beat him.

6. When I asked 2 GOP co-workers, this is the answer I got: |
|
They said they could not live in a country where they thought--even for a second--that George W. Bush (and, I assume, his admin.) had done something like 9/11. They wondered how ANYONE could believe such nonsense and, if we did, why we continued to work and pay taxes here which supports the government.
I didn't know what to say... :scared: :hide:
