The argument basically comes down to this:

Don't worry! We can safely turn our ports over to a country that is supports terrorism. No problem! Why? The COAST GUARD is in the job! The MIGHTY Coast Guard, the organization that makes international terrorists tremble in fear!

1. This is where he's lost it with his base..

he just got through telling everybody a week or so ago that there were nasty Arabs hiding behind every corner trying to get us, thus they had to tap everybody's phone. Now he tells everybody don't worry, these Arabs are our friends? Even those with the meanest of intelligence can see there is something wrong with his logic, it won't fly.
