1. Well, let's look at the bright side. |
|
Women had rights for a few years. That's a few more than none at all.

2. Did they also simultaneously pass a bill which will take care of |
|
all the unwanted babies born as a result? And, one which will pay for the health care of the women who get botched abortions as a result?
How sad.

Let's pass a law repealing the 19th Amendment! Take away a women's right to vote! Yeah, let's get real old-fashioned here! We can institute stoning as a death penalty and all that fun stuff you read about in the Bible!

1. Remove all fundamental civil rights from women, make them slaves to their fathers, brothers, and/or husbands. No right to travel, no right to work, no right to education, no right to speak in public or at home, no right to inherit, no right to own real property or chattel, no right to possess money of any amount, etc.
2. Give all fundamental and civil rights to zygotes, embryos, and feti (plural of fetus) UNTIL birth. Then female infants lose their fundamental and civil rights (see #1).

5. This is why Alito was the most important battle of all |
|
Everything else is interesting to a point. But Bush will be gone soon. His stacking of the courts will be here a LONG time. I'm STILL mad at the DINOs who let this happen with BARELY a wimper.

7. Now credit cards, bank loans and owning a home will end for women |
|
This is how it was when abortion was illegal, the rest of your rights went along with it. The banks were afraid a woman could default on a loan if she became pregnant therefore ...no credit. I wonder if women are going to accept this. I think they have yet to understand the repercussions of this aside from not being able to make a choice in their life. We shall see. I lived through this, I know.

8. This is why getting our majorities back is priority #1 |
|
If we had our majorities, even with a few dems that are conservative on some issues, we wouldn't have to worry about Alitos.
This reminds me of how WRONG Nader was. This crap would not be happening if Kerry or Gore was sitting in office.

10. Until Alito, I really thought that the right needed abortion to stay legal |
|
in order to have something to run on. Clearly, I was wrong.
And now I see that there's a never-ending of issues they can use to "get out the vote": gay marriage, gay adoption, any kind of gay rights at all, and who knows what.

Dump the unwanted babies on their fathers' doorsteps. Men can't get pregnant, but they sure as hell can know the end result of outlawing abortion, especially if the kid has a profound disability. Women, as a rule, do the child rearing in this country, but if the government - which is primarily run by white males - wants to regulate the operations of the uterus, give 'em the kids. This really pisses me off.
