Call me crazy, but...
Fred Phelps cites Freedom of Speech to allow his disruption of funerals, right?
Now, seems to me that if you are AN AMERICAN CITIZEN, going to the funerals of soldiers who were killed fighting in Iraq, and generally making like you were not only really really happy about them getting killed, you wanted more American soldiers killed to make your point...that would come under giving aid and comfort to the enemy, right?
"...giv(ing) aid and comfort to the enemy..." Damn.
That could be considered treason, couldn't it? :yoiks:

Don't think good right-wing conservative neo-christians are supposed to be for doing that...:sarcasm:
