But seriously, what is up with the "don't look at me" orders. Remember the thing in Germany when he was in a motorcade. The German officials were cautioning people to not look directly at him. Serioulsy, the secret service is watching to see whether people are looking at the president. If I recall that warning in germany, was it? A warning to the residents of an apartment building, I believe. They said do not look out your window at him, not "don't look at him." If the cops just see your face at a window staring out, they cannot tell whether you have a gun in there or what, whereas if you are standing outside they can make the determination whether you are a threat or not.

Its criminal that he is so hated, its stupid that we let fear turn us so totalitarian, but the "don't look at him" thing was not as dumb as it sounds.
