Wow, Rasmussen has Approval of Port Deal at Just 17%
Edited on Fri Feb-24-06 06:14 PM by louis c
Rasmussen Reports, a biased, Republican pollster, has an overwhelming majority of the American public disapproving of the Dubai port deal.

<snip>
February 24-- Just 17% of Americans believe Dubai Ports World should be allowed to purchase operating rights to several U.S. ports......64% disagree and believe the sale should not be allowed.

...President Bush's national security credentials have clearly been tarnished due to the outcry over this issue. For the first time ever, Americans have a slight preference for Democrats in congress over the President on national security issues.

I told you. If this issue sticks, we can crack his base. He will be an anchor in this year's elections. Without a clear majority on the national security issue, the Repukes are cooked.

1. Terrorism
That was Bush's trump card. You have to be living under a rock to see that putting our Ports under the control of a Arab nation which DID have ties to 9/11 (unlike Iraq), means we have a President who is more concerned with PROFIT than our safety, not to mention AMERICAN JOBS.

Incidentally, I just heard on the radio that crude has SKYROCKETED on all this. Say hello to $3 a gallon gas and astronomical utility bills. Just want the B.......D wanted.

3. I can't wait to see what Bush's approval ratings are next week.
I'm guessing they're careening by the second.
