Another great poster posted this but no one was paying attention (I guess hunting accidents and Fred Phelps are more important?)

DoD Staffer's Notes from 9/11 Obtained Under FOIA

DoD staffer's notes from 9/11 - 2:40 PM
Originally uploaded by thadanderson. On July 23, 2005, I submitted an electronic Freedom of Information Act request to the Department of Defense seeking DoD staffer Stephen Cambone's notes from meetings with Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld on the afternoon of September 11, 2001. Cambone's notes were cited heavily in the 9/11 Commission Report's reconstruction of the day's events. On February 10, 2006, I received a response from the DoD which includes partially-redacted copies of Cambone's notes. The documents can be viewed as a photo set on Flickr.

The released notes document Donald Rumsfeld's 2:40 PM instructions to General Myers to find the "est info fast . . . judge whether good enough hit S.H. at same time - not only UBL " (as discussed on p. 334-335 of the 9/11 Commission Report and in Bob Woodward's Plan of Attack).

In addition, the documents confirm the contents of CBS News' Sept. 4, 2002 report "Plans For Iraq Attack Began on 9/11," which quoted Rumsfeld's notes as stating: "Go massive . . . Sweep it all up. Things related and not." These lines were not mentioned in the 9/11 Commission Report or Woodward's Plan of Attack, and to my knowledge, have not been independently confirmed by any other source. After the Rathergate fiasco, I wondered if CBS had been fooled into publishing a story that, from a publicity perspective, seemed too good to be true.

Finally, these documents unveil a previously undisclosed part of the 2:40 PM discussion. Several lines below the "judge whether good enough hit S.H. at same time" line, Cambone's notes from the conversation read: "Hard to get a good case."

In addition to being available as a photo set on Flickr, you can download the documents in PDF format below. BitTorrent users can also download a 6.9 MB zip file containing PDFs of all the documents.

3. Oh, well, they've gone onto other games now, like how to get Congress to
beg them to let Halliburton take over all U.S. ports, instead of the sheiks of Araby, so Cheney can have the entire perimeter of the United States (combined with his takings in Louisiana) as his personal fiefdom, if/when he resigns, or for later on. Bait and switch. Let people think they are/were serious about giving all our ports to the home country of 9/11 hijackers. Then switch. Give it all to Cheney. Bust the Longshoreman's Union (best in the country), import cheap Iraqi labor, pay them shit wages, confine them in empty tankers at night, run arms/WMDs/drugs/slaves, whatever, in and out of the U.S. with no interference from anybody. (Actually, I think this may be what Cheney has been blackmailing Bush Jr. for, re: Traitorgate.)

The joke's on us, again.

Every newsstation in america should be exposing the lies right now.

Too bad rich blonde girls are still losing themselves in undeveloped nations.

8. Actually They Were Going To Attack Iraq Even Before the 2000
election. There is a publication that lays out their plans before they took over the WH signed by Bill Crystal, Wolfowitz, Rummy, Feith and many many others. They also were going to go into Iran, Syria and other countries. It also said that they wanted a Space Program along the lines of what Reagan had proposed so that America could also obtain control there before another country could. It was posted here a little while back.

Maybe it's not a "legal" working document, but it was THE PLAN! I recall reading and sending it to many others before 2000 because I was totally shocked that they had actually drawn it up. It was published by a Newspaper in the UK. The London Times I believe.

I'm sure someone here at DU knows which document I'm talking about!

and saying Saddam did this? I clearly remember his words and how I threw a towel at the TV . I think it was the day after ,or the 12th. I knew when I saw that what the plan was. I dont remember who was interveiwing him. Anyone remember this?
