Because what he craves most of all is the publicity, I won’t name the nutjob preacher from Topeka whose family protests at the funerals of dead soldiers.

But you know who I’m talking about.

Likewise, you’re probably aware that, due to this clan’s outrageous behavior, more than a dozen state legislatures, including our two, are looking at passing — or have already passed — laws aimed at keeping anyone from engaging in such a despicable act as picketing a funeral.

Seems to me to be a big mistake.

Even if the laws are upheld in court, the preacher and his spawn get what they want: Attention.
