Sharon has major stroke.... breaking on CNN
This is in LBN, but what I want to know, is this good or bad?

Will this de-rail the Neo-cons plans to bomb Iran? or

Are they taking Sharon out because he wouldn't go along with the plan?

Educate me please.

6. occams razor will probably prevail here, yet again
plus nothing will derail the neocons from bombing whatever the hell they want, not lack of budget, not lack of military, not lack of public support, nor lack of a withdrawal plan.

They've probably already got their Mission Accomplished banners all printed up and ready to go too.

12. That plan was vetoed last summer by the Joint Chiefs
Edited on Wed Jan-04-06 05:09 PM by leveymg
What we've been hearing since is just a covering operation -- a deception campaign -- to keep Iran off-balance until our withdrawal from Iraq is complete.

Then, Iran can have their new western province. That's the predictable outcome of the failed plan that Sharon and the neocons forced down America's throat. Someone has to be held accountable, and pay they are. 1-2-3. See below.

3. Could just be that he had a stroke...
I was kind of hoping that Amir Peretz and his Labor party, combined with Sharon moving towards the center, would move Israel to the left overall.

13. i think it was just a stroke as well, he's not in great shape
he's older, it wouldn't really be an anomaly for him to have one. My Nana has had 3, one major and 2 small ones.

And he just founded a new party... Who will Kadima nominate? How will this affect both Labour and Likud's position in the polls?

8. Cheney's next. Then, * will suddenly be diagnosed with something.
I've been saying for months that 1-2-3, all those who are implicated in the Iraq WMD-OSP-AIPAC Spy Scandal, and Plamegate are going to be early retired. Most for "health reasons."

Just like they used to do it in the old Politburo.

15. Haaretz has a running ticker with updates...
Running ticker! Hey that's funny! I personally won't mourn the loss of the Butcher of Beirut, but Bibi scares the hell out of me too.
