5. I proudly voted for Kerry because of the supreme court issue.
Just like I will proudly vote for any Dem because we now know the importance of the supreme court and they types of judges the right winger will place on it.

6. I voted for the non-Bush
Didn't like Kerry, still don't.

I'd still vote for him again if he was our candidtate. I don't expect to like everyone who runs for office, but I'm damn sure who's out to hurt me and my nation. In 2004 Kerry stood up for America the way he wanted to and almost unseated an incumbent oligarchy. Not bad for a librul from Taxachusetts.

8. The Electoral College disenfranchises you in safe states, but...
I ended up voting for John Kerry even though I live in a safe state: Mississippi.

I regret voting for Kerry. Because of the peculiar nature of the EC, I probably should've voted my conscience. It's not like the vote in Mississippi was close anyway. Kerry never even bothered to come to this state.

I should've voted for Cobb of the Greens. Unlike Kerry, Cobb never supported the free trade agenda.

13. Planned to vote for Kerry/Edwards
Went to our polling place and they told me my name was not listed. I went home, knowing I had my voter's registration card somewhere that they had just sent me that year, and I tore the place apart looking for it. My husband went and voted, and said he thought he saw my name, so I went back up and tried to vote again, and again they wouldn't let me. I asked for a provisional ballot and they told me that it wasn't worth it because it wouldn't get counted. I was so upset. I stayed up and watched the election results and moped around for a week. A few days later I found my voter's registration card for this address. I'm gonna be there with bells on this time....card in hand!

They were drawing such huge throngs of supporters wherever they went; it was so heartbreaking for Kerry to concede so quickly. I still like him and respect him so much.

I've been a registered Dem for over forty years.

The Bush regime has justified my decision.

me too

my non-repuke voting record extends to every other election, national, state and local as well since 1974

I missed by a year being able to vote against Nixon, which I still regret.

And I'm still proud of my vote too. :) This was actually the first time I voted in a Presidential Election, because I have a late birthday (Nov. 28th) I wasn't able to vote in the 2000 election.

The usual "lesser of two evils" vote. From now on, I'll be voting issues rather than party or politicians.
