Moqtada al-Sadr's Mehdi Army Now Has Uniforms!
Remeber these guys from two years ago?

Here they are today with new uniforms and I am assuming a certain amount of respect from the occupiers. I wonder how this makes the families of the US soldiers killed fighting them feel?

2. POW status for them if captured?
Do they now recieve this instead of "enemey combatants" &/or detainees?

4. Well...when you consider Al Sadar's movements in the last
year or so, you would note that he seem to have immunity from the US. Last I heard was that he was in Lebanon recently in talks with Shias down there and came back after the last shia mosque bombing. what that tells me is that he is in no way under the radar of the US government.

5. Many have asked if we are in a Civil War yet?
My answer is no.

When the Mehdi Army is mobilized and sent burning their way through the Sunni Triangle, then we'll have a real Civil War.

It will be short and bloody and Syria and Jordan will have huge refugee problems.
