Sarah at CorrenteWire Blog BRILLIANTLY debunks George W. Bush's "ranch"
Edited on Sun Feb-26-06 10:23 PM by johnfunk
I'm just going to give y'all a little taste of how to debunk our "authentic" Texan Preznit:

I’m from Texas. Y’all are about to find out a whole lot about real Texans that W hasn’t prepared y’all for.

Let’s start with what Texas is like, really.

A Texan president with a ranch? That would be LBJ. Go back and read the (okay, by now microfiche) accounts of what his ranch was like and what he did when he escaped DC and came back to it, either while he was in office or after he decided not to run again. He had a manager on the place for when he was stuck in DC, too. They ran cattle and raised working horses; I expect the hands had pigs, chickens and probably either milch cows or goats as well. There were working hands there year-round, LBJ at home or not.

Now look at George W. Bush’s little dacha, “Prairie Chapel Ranch.”...

Go here to read the rest. I guarantee you won't be disappointed.

ON EDIT: layout cleaned up for ease of reading.

3. true, he's not a real cowboy..........
....he just plays one on TV!

Bottom line, they adopt that image because it projects an image of a common man and really, nothing could be further from the truth!! Bush is about as much of a cowboy as Abramoff is an honest man..........and we all know that's not true!

9. And they bought the place right before they stole 2000
So they knew it would go off without a hitch since they bought the place. From what I've read the family used to live in a gated community that was quite pricy in Houston.

5. Bush isn't a true Texan
Bush's favorite sport is baseball, and everybody knows a true Texan's love is football.
