Why no more talks of how "dangerous" Iran is?
I find it mighty strange how now the UAE deal has come up nobody is talking anymore about how "dangerous" Iran is. If they were so dangerous wouldn't they still be talking about it and reminding people? So what's the deal? Why do you think they're no longer talking about Iran?

1. They change the set so fast that it is hard to keep track of which play
you are watching.... The Sound of Music or Oklahoma... I really can't follow the script... I don't think they are using one... ah well, support the troops while you try to figure this all out, and remember they have not been supported by those who sent them into harms way.

6. You're right.
This is not a "government". This is a Soap Opera. They're constantly changing the script. One minute, it's Osama. Next, it's Saddam. Next, it's Kim Jong Il. The latest Bad Guy of the week is Iran.

They're spinning so fast, they can't keep track of it all.

2. They're busy making preparations to attack
can't have the press paying attention to Iran while they are doing that now

4. Probably because they are completely impotent in stopping
Iran from going nuclear. With what army could we threaten them with? And we can't bomb them because the nuclear materials are scattered all over the country. * has been actually a total wimp on Iran, allowing them to get this far. Our invasion of Iraq and the continuing debacle there has only emboldened Iran, and the Shiite alliance government in Iraq is a natural ally of Iran. * has absolutely no options, or at least not very good options, when it comes to Iran. What I hear mostly is the radical right whip up some Iranian war fever once in a while and a corresponding left get all worked up about it, but if you look at what the administration says, and more importantly, what it's doing about it (nothing), you realize that Iran is going to go nuclear, and the start of that horrible reality happened on *'s watch. Strong on national security, yeah right.

7. THey're taking a breather...give them a break
it takes a lot of energy to have a collective hissy fit.

Plus all that time to strategically place stories on forums and then trumpet the patterns later on...

That drumbeat to war takes time.

Dare I say it... it's hard work. ;)

8. That's because events are so "out of control" for the Bushies right now,
they can't keep their steady diet of anti-Iran messages going.

Recall how many of us talk about Bush/Rove coming up with new issues or terra alerts to act as smoke/mirrors around a scandal being heavily reported?

Well, now we have new Bush scandals/problems covering up previous Bush scandals/problems or anything the Bush regime wants to get out!

It's amazing, but the Bush regime is effing up its own messages.

Good for Iran (and our military and national well-being).

9. well not quite
Bush gave a speech on Friday in which he enumerated the many reasons why Iran is the most dangerous country on earth. Basically, he took one of his Iraq speeches and substituted the word Iran. What a fear mongerer.

10. Gotta hush up that anti-foreigner propaganda until the deal goes through.
It'll crank up again once they bamboozle the gullible American sheeple to forget about the port deal.
