Man, what a week. George Will says "this" is a civil |
|
war, and Buckley jumps ship.
Holy crap. I would not want to be within miles of the offal office this week.
BTW... did Buckley EVER admit Viet Nam was a mistake?

1. Even though George Will is a Reich wing asshole... |
|
he displays flashes of common sense every now and then. And only someone who is completely detached from reality could honestly say there's no civil war.

2. George Will stole Carter's re-election handbook for Reagan's team |
|
He's a hardcore RW insider. When he jumps ship, that means the damn thing is going down and fast.

3. I turned to Faux and heard Gingrich; he's also making a lot more |
|
sense than this admin, and admitting a civil war could be imminent.

4. I don't think so, Buckley actually debated a 27 yr old Kerry in 1971 |

Kerry did quite well - so Buckley used his next 2 columns to explain why Kerry was wrong -mostly by attacking Kerry rather than Kerry's arguments.
