Very important new movie
After Innocence is a movie about what happens to men who were put in prison and later found to be innocent:

Imagine that everything in your life is wonderful, until one day somebody tells a lie about you and you end up in jail. What if you were sentenced to life in prison without parole, or sent to death row, for a crime that you didn't commit?

It doesn't matter who you are. Whether you are a police officer or a US Marine or a Sears Roebuck salesman, it could happen to anybody, and it did. This is the unbelievable story of the exonerated - innocent men wrongfully imprisoned for decades and then released after DNA evidence proved their innocence.

Although the public views exoneration as success stories, the human toll of wrongful imprisonment can last far longer than the sentences served. Focusing on the gripping stories of seven wrongfully convicted men, AFTER INNOCENCE explores the emotional journeys they face when thrust back into society with little or no support from the system that put them behind bars, while also placing a spotlight on the flaws in our criminal justice system that lead to the wrongful conviction of innocent people.

Winner 2005 Sundance Special Jury Award and many others.
