Which Pug Pundit Makes You Spit Nails? |
|
Every time I see Ron Christie, I want to smack him so hard his eyes uncross. As far as he’s concerned, W poops light and love.
I watched him on CNN, blather on about how the American people support W’s spying and Clinton did the same thing.....blah..blah blah…lie…lie …lie.
Which lobotomized pundit gives you the shakes?

4. Hannity grates on my nerves. |
|
He's so goddamn dumb, and yet something about him threatens me. Perhaps he reminds me of the smug, preppy jock from high school who was entitled to say and do whatever he wanted, and legions of dumbasses would hang on his every word.

I was wondering why I hated that guy so much. Joe Scarborough runs a close second. :puke:

and Kate O'Beirne. I give an "Honorable Mention" to Ken Mehlman. Although I'm not sure he's a pundit in the truest sense of the word, he does, however, give me the shakes.

8. The one thing I respect about O'Beirne is that her |

outside matches the ugliness of her inside.

And it makes me feel bad for all the "Sloane Rangers" out there, still holding on to the fashion sense they had in 1985. Oy. I think I hate her also because there are so many women out there who see her and feel they can relate to her, so they listen to her.
I love your avatar by the way. I used to have it as my wallpaper.

If he had his way, there would be nothing but Touched By An Angel and Little House on The Prairie reruns on TV, and nothing but cheesy Rapture/God-sploitation movies in the theaters.

12. Brit Hume, but at least now I'm able to laugh whenever I see him. |
|
Ever since I read a comment on a message board referring to him as "Testicle cheeks," I can't help but burst out laughing whenever his saggy visage assaults the screen. Mostly because it is such a perfect description.

15. I've given up on all of them--don't even watch for laughs anymore |

The New York Times sitting on Snoopgate was the last straw--I just can't take the "blah blah blah lie lie lie" anymore. But not because it makes be angry--because it makes me laugh.
On one of her rare Majority Report appearances, Janeane Garafalo compared the GOP spin machine to "absurdist theater." I dismissed it as more of her cerebral diarrhea. But about a week later, one minute into an attempt to watch Condi "defend" something on Hardball, I found myself trying to remember the name of the guy who wrote plays about people sitting inside a hill of beans!

16. Lawrence Kudlow is especially odious. |
|
You would think a man with very public addiction problems, among other things, would have developed a becoming maturity and humility, but no dice. If anything, he's as self-righteous and self-deluding as any among the punditocracy.
I also have no use for Michael Barone, who is just a loose cannon wrapped in faux respectability.
Michael Medved, however, I met once at a film festival, as he was the only panelist at a discussion on film violence to stay behind and chat with audience members. He struck me as a little affected but quite gracious and respectful to the audience.
