How's this for a future?

Dick Cheney will leave the Vice Presidency. His heart condition will be given as the reason. They may even fake an attack but one way or another Dick will leave the Administration before it gets hot in Washington - in more ways than one. Cheney will go on to be indicted but will never see the inside of a prison.

Cheney's replacement will be McCain. McCain and Bush hate each other and will never speak other than at functions where they can not avoid one another. McCain will have no voice in White House affairs what so ever, and in fact will spend a lot of time denigrating the administration, just not too hard. He will be selected because he is more popular than Bush - in fact his approval ratings will be higher than Bush's all the way to the end of December of '08.

McCain's only duties during his time in the second seat will be to stump for Republican Congressmen who are in trouble in their home districts and promote himself for the top spot in '08. This will be decreed to George by a coalition of Republicans - some in Government and many more outside of Government, including his own father. In short George is dead meat and John is his replacement. John's popularity among Republicans will be used to boost Republicans from Congress who are in trouble and the Vice President's slot is McCain's brass ring for the free ride to the Presidency.

It is of no matter what so ever that the ego's of George and John would conflict. They will never be together. George is a coward who will cringe before daddy and the posse when they come to lay down the law. McCain's desire for the Presidency is so great he will grin and bear George. In the event any of the heavy duty illegality of the past 5 years catches up with George in the next two and a half years John will be right there to fill his slot and continue with the newfound Republican tradition of rape of the people.

How's that for a future?
