For starters, it isn't listed on the TV schedule. Nothing too unusual- that happens from time to time, but when I click on the link to CSPAN1, I get a message saying "this stream is not available. Please try again later". Anyone else having this problem?
BTW- CSPAN2 and CSPAN3 are both working fine.

|
So far, they seem to be. I wonder if that has anything to do with the Washington Journal piece this morning that questioned whether or not the conference should be televised at all. There was an article quoted that was highly critical of the press, now that they've finally started doing their job.
I hope the press doesn't cave to pressure.

What we do need to realize though - part of the WH strategy is to demonize the press. If they can do away with this briefing, or at least not televise it live so they can sensor, they'll do it.

This is the most secretive administration in US history. If they can take the press briefings out of the public eye, they can better manage the agenda. For every media outlet that reports the briefing in a not-so-favorable light for the administration, they have Fox, the NY Post, Washington Times, etc. to spin it exactly the way Bushco wants them to.

|
And anti-choice? I get a kick out of his often obscure, crazier-than-shit questions, but I get the impression that he supports Bushco's policies and in fact, doesn't think they go far enough to the right.
I think that's what he was getting at by trying to pin the administration down to supporting South Dakota's recently passed abortion law. Bushco supports three exceptions for the mother and the S. Dakota law only provides two.
Maybe my impression is all wrong, though.
