Was Bin Laden a hit man at one time?

A friend ask me if I knew about Bin Laden's past as a hit man. She sent me the following. Has anyone heard about this?



...but Bin Laden got his millions by being hired out by countries and doing their "missions" for them. If I remember right, he was used by almost every nation. He would send his "men" to destroy "human" targets. America has used him, even Israel. I remember he sat in the Mediterranian sea in a hugh yacht and that is how people would find him.

Basically Bin Laden was a hit man. For his own gain. Then..he bacame so rich and powerful..(look what he did) that these nations that used him, turned on him.

8. Bin Laden employed as operative by Western intelligence agencies

As recently as 1996, Osama was still working as a Western intell. asset.

13. How exactly do you make the leap from

Nice leap there, don't fall off the edge of your conclusion.

There is a very large difference between "extremeists who have connections to" and the man himself.

Now, if you want to look into factual information, look into CIA funding of the mujahadin against the Soviets, and the funds given to the Taliban as late as 2001 by the Bush administration.

5. Bin Laden is but one son of an extremely wealthy Saudi family which

gained its fortunes in construction if I'm not mistaken.

It had nothing to with being a hit man.

Methinks someone has been watching movies like "The Day of the Jackal" too much.

11. LOL . . . . Don't believe everything you read.

You are leaping from one conspiracy theory to the next without regard for what is fact or fiction.

Yes, there was an assassin known as the Jackal, no he had no connection to the Kennedy assassination.

Garrison was a kook who set the effort to find out the truth behind the Kennedy assassination back by years.

And Bin Laden is not the Jackal, and had nothing to do with the plot to assassinate de Gualle or Kennedy.

Please try to keep the truth of one separate from the truth of the other and leave out the illogical conclusory leaps altogether.

I heard a rumor that Osama Bin Landen has underdeveloped genitals because of a medical accident that happen to him as a baby. Supposedly, an American woman laughed at him before they had sex and ever since then, he has become bitter at Americans.

Have you heard the one about Osama going to school in Chicago, dating an american girl, and getting laughed at by her because of the small size of his penis?

To believe the rumor, we'd have to buy that:

* A young Osama bin Laden met an unnamed and untraceable American girl in an Islamic country.

* Things progressed between them to the point of their dating.

* The dating relationship became a physical one despite strong Muslim strictures against premarital sex.

* Osama bin Laden has a small penis. (Of all the things known about "The Contractor," the size of his genitals isn't one of them.)

* That a girl who'd cared for him enough to date and then sleep with him would then taunt him over a physical difference he would have had no control over.

* Anger over her comments would have fueled his life-long hatred of the USA.

This seems too much of a stretch to us, so we're labelling this one "false."

12. That's sounds like a bad movie plot

Osama bin Laden has always been a 'money man' more than an operations person. He got his millions from his family's business, just like his brother, Salim, who used to be in business with James Bath and George Bush.

He also used to go by the name of 'Tim Osman' when he tried to be a hip urban dude during the 60's and 70's:



But he was never a hit man to the best of my knowledge.
